Jack’s fascination with Corvettes started with his first purchase. It was in 1971 when he returned from Vietnam. His first love was a 1967 Goodwood Green Coupe he bought for $2,200.00. He owned it for two years until it went the way of many Corvettes of that era…sold it…to marry the true love of his life, Marlys, and started a family.
But his passion for Corvettes never died. While attending a Corvette Auction with a friend, his heart did a jump-start at the sight of a 1965 Silver/Red Coupe. He was flooded with memories of younger days and faster cars. The gavel dropped and Jack was cruising home in his dream car.
What began as a hobby evolved into an avocation that gave birth to Vintage Vettes as we know it today. His dream has been realized in North Kansas City, Missouri, where timeless classics are showcased in a 30,000 square foot building housing showroom, shop, and offices, in a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of bygone times.
